Western Partners
MIAN can only operate in cooperation with so-called western partners.
In most of the cases these organisations do have a working relationship with local non governmental organisations (NGO’s) which they want to extend with micro insurance solutions. For that reason they approach MIAN. MIAN delivers expertise where the partners cover the financial aspects. The most important western partners for MIAN are Agriterra, Oxfam/NOVIB and Rabobank Foundation.
